Traffic Violations
If your ticket is marked “YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT,” your appearance is required.  Go to court on the date given on your ticket.

If your ticket is NOT marked “YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT,” you have several options.

  • You can plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket online by going to the "online payment options" on the left, with a credit card.   Search for case by entering your name (last name, first name: i.e. Doe, John) or case number.  Click on the button below to plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket.  
  • You may plead guilty and pay applicable fees.  A conviction is reported to the Secretary of State.  We do not accept PERSONAL CHECKS.  Please remit a cashier’s check or money order.  Mail your payment to Woodford County Circuit Clerk, P.O. Box 284, Eureka, Illinois 61530.
  • If you receive more than 1 citation, that is an automatic court appearance
  • You may plead guilty and ask the Court for Supervision.  In order to receive Court Supervision, you MUST APPEAR in Court on the Court date stated on your ticket.
  • Court Supervision is offered on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  Please call to verify that court is in session on that day.
If you appear in Court and you are granted Court Supervision, the offense will be reported to the Secretary of State as such and will not be reflected as a conviction for the traffic offense with which you are charged.

The Judge will impose the amount you will be required to pay for your traffic citation plus court costs if Judge grants Court Supervision.      
Personal checks ARE NOT accepted.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, cash, cashier’s check or money order.  Traffic Court is held at the Woodford County Courthouse on the 3rd floor Courtroom at 115 N. Effective July 1, 2019, all criminal and traffic assessments as well as civil filing fees will be changing throughout ht eState in accordance to Public Act 100-987, the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act.  This act mofifies the Clerks of the Circuit Court Act, specifically section 705 ILCS 105/27.1b.
