Traffic Violations
If your ticket is marked “YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT,” your appearance is required.  Go to court on the date given on your ticket.

Examples of Must Appear Offenses are Driving Under the Influence, Driving While License Revoked or Suspended, Reckless Driving, Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle, or Personal Injury Accident among others.

If your ticket is NOT marked “YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT,” you have several options.

  • You can plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket online at  www.judici.com with a credit card.  Search for case by entering your name (last name, first name: i.e. Doe, John) or case number.  Click on the button below to plead guilty and pay your traffic ticket.  
  • You may plead guilty and pay applicable fees.  A conviction is reported to the Secretary of State.  We do not accept PERSONAL CHECKS.  Please remit a cashier’s check or money order.  Mail your payment to Woodford County Circuit Clerk, P.O. Box 284, Eureka, Illinois 61530.
  • If you receive more than 1 citation, that is an automatic court appearance.

    • Speeding 1-20 mph over the limit $120.00
    • Speeding 21-25 mph over the limit $140.00
    • Speeding 26+ mph over the limit MUST APPEAR
    • Speeding 26-34 mph is a Class B Misdemeanor
    • Speeding 35+ mph is a Class A Misdemeanor
    • All other non-court appearance offenses $120.00
    • Seat Belt offense $ 60.00
  • You may plead guilty and ask the Court for Supervision.  In order to receive Court Supervision, you MUST APPEAR in Court on the Court date stated on your ticket.
  • Court Supervision is offered on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  Please call to verify that court is in session on that day.

If you appear in Court and you are granted Court Supervision, the offense will be reported to the Secretary of State as such and will not be reflected as a conviction for the traffic offense with which you are charged.

The Judge will impose the amount you will be required to pay for your traffic citation plus court costs if Judge grants Court Supervision.      
  
Personal checks ARE NOT accepted.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, cash, cashier’s check or money order.  Traffic Court is held at the Woodford County Courthouse on the 3rd floor Courtroom at 115 N. Main Street, Eureka, Illinois.  Appear in Court on the date stated on your ticket.  For directions, click here.
