U.S. 24 Pavement Striping Work

PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that intermittent lane closures will be in place on U.S. 24 between Cummings Lane in Washington and just east of El Paso in Woodford County from Monday, May 8 to Friday, May 12.

These moving lane closures are necessary for pavement striping work to be completed. The lane closures will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 8 and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 9-12. Motorists should be alert for wet paint and possible travel delays during this time.

Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
